New Roof Capital Campaign
Morgantown News
At the Congregational Meeting on February 19 we decided to move $8000 of our existing funds towards the New Roof fund. This roof would include insulation (currently the building is uninsulated) and so would go a long way to making us a Greener community. We estimate that it would take $15,000 to add the new metal roof and associated insulation. So, we are half way there! Of course, there would be an immediate payback in lower heating and cooling bills. We will be asking for special donations to go towards this fund as well as undertaking special events, including an on-going silent auction, to help raise the necessary money.

Morgantown Health Right donations
Last month, Laura Jones, Executive Director of Milan Puskar Health Right came and talked with us about homelessness. We asked her for a list of possible items for collection that would
assist Health Right in providing care to people experiencing homelessness. Here is the list:

New Sweat Socks
New Underwear - mens and womens in various sizes - especially larger sizes.
Healthy packaged snacks such as granola bars, nuts, raisins, fruit cups, etc.
Personal care items - especially disposable razors, travel size shampoo
and soap, toothbrushes, travel size toothpaste and floss.

Please bring items like this to the Fellowship and we'll make sure they get to Health Right.
For further information and answers to any further questions, she says you can call her directly at 304-292-5702.
